The 2.0 Hi-Res wireless speaker features Bluetooth CSR technology for lossless audio and can be used with smart devices for reference sound. The unit is driven by high-efficiency class D digital amplifiers 130W RMS total output (50W x 2 mid-bass, 15W x 2 treble). Powering the amplification is Texas Instruments' TAS5754 chips, which have a PWM carrier frequency of 768kHz that minimizes noise and distortion. The end result is studio-quality clarity in both vocals and instruments, and the dynamic range RCA cable users have come to expect. The speaker can also be wirelessly connected to using Bluetooth 5.0, decoding Qualcomm aptX HD to deliver audio as it was for devices that support its near-lossless playback. Streaming from a phone, tablet or computer, there’s rich, immersive audio -- and scant lag.
Cabled connections are just as strong thanks to dual Line-In, Optical, and Coaxial inputs which allow multiple cabled devices to be connected to the speakers including TVs, gaming platforms, set-top boxes and Blu-ray players. The TL320AIC3254 DSP chip, is utilised for precise digital signal processing coupled with time-aligned crossover, providing perfect sound tuning for treble and bass. The speaker includes a separate remote control, so you can wirelessly control the volume, input source, sound mode selection and power from your seat. The speakers each stand at 198 x 276 x 342mm and weigh in at 17.14 kg so you can expect them to have a good level of acoustic inertia and build integrity.
